An international student moves in with Americans and gets the lay of the land. Luis Figueroa Caunedo directs “…And You Had Tourette’s,” a playfully obscure series of vignettes shot on 35mm film. A young man arrives as a kid with Tourette’s watches a strange television show. The new tenant is shown his room—the bathroom—and then helps his roommate hang up a poster with toothpaste. Later, the guys are stopped by a local policeman and hope to avert trouble. Hard to classify but endearing, the film maintains an effortless cool with a light touch and off-kilter style. -KA. Director: Luis Figueroa Caunedo. Cast: Mir Mengi, Barry Evans, Abe Kaye, Shawlin Tucker, ZJ Wang. DP: Zach Galsky. Editor: Luis Figueroa Caunedo. Producer: Gili-Jo Froman. Composer: Nora Cheng.
