A two-man band called Maurice makes a pilgrimage to Queens to discover a street that shares their name. Travis Wood directs “Another Miracle,” a hybrid music video combining on-the-street performance and lighthearted interviews with local residents. Between lyrics, New Yorkers share anecdotes on the miracles they’ve experienced in their lives. (Some are just confused what the footage is being used for). The piece, and its song, are unapologetically positive. It’s the first music video we’ve seen from Travis Wood, a NoBudge veteran, whose previous works tap into a similar small-scale charm. -JM. Music by Maruice, Kenny Ning & Certain Self. Directed by Travis Wood. Cinematography by Travis Wood & Andrew Oppeneer. Mini-DV by Jason Gaines. Edit & Color by Kevin Horn. Voice-over by Tendai Gava.
