After being booked for disorderly conduct, a woman hits the streets with a fellow outlaw for more mischief. “Florida Water Blues,” a music video for Twisted Teens, directed by Jack Massucci, places the raucous garage rock tune as the soundtrack for a pair of sweethearts living it up in New Orleans. Leaving the courthouse, she shares a sly smile with her partner in crime and they head to the bar. From there, it’s a day of wine, cigarettes, hitchhiking, dancing in fields, breaking into a swimming pool, and unfortunately having to meet virtually with a judge. Raspy, headlong vocals set the tone for a rambunctious adventure that captures an attitude and subculture out of step with contemporary mundanity, wild-at-heart characters searching for punk ecstasy. The song is off the Twisted Teens album of the same name released in July, their second LP this year. -KA. Director: Jack Massucci. Director of Photography: Jackson Bear.
