A long-haul trucker builds community and a new life on YouTube as @MsDivaTrucker43. Dana Reilly directs “Ms Diva Trucker,” a documentary portrait about the life of a female truck driver. Understated but expressive, the film captures a woman defined more by her independence than from her unusual life path. With her pink boots and pink steering wheel cover, the Diva Trucker traverses the country, sending out dispatches to her social media following about her job and life. For the most part, she’s able to maintain a sunny outlet despite financial pressure and the strain on her marriage of 9 years, but there are difficult patches. -KA. Director, Editor: Dana Reilly. Producer: Cristin Stephens. Director of Photography: Tori McCarthy. Additional Camera: Sarah Hennigan. Featuring: Tamara Brock. Original Music: Jordan Plotner. Graphic Artist: Noah Goodman.
