Compounding Negativity
Featuring Will Duncan

Comedy, Short Films, 20-May-2024
A young man achieves success on the internet. Alex Sovoda of Enzo the Magazine directs “Compounding Negativity,” a character comedy where a young man, played by Will Duncan, drops a drill freestyle that opens some new doors. After walking his date home, Will is approached by two young men who are fans of a viral clip—it’s a video where an online hip-hop account has him do an impromptu freestyle where he raps about Jeffery Epstein, the Island, politicians, children, and a whole other bizarre mash of current events. As the week goes on, he can’t seem to shake the publicity. His roommate suggests he read the comments, and his supervising team at work informs him that he’s violated their privacy policy. Along with another animated performance by Will Duncan — we’ve seen in him in “HEINEKEN” and “Normal Guys” — Sovoda’s short is a humorous take on the recent trend of street walk-up-and-talk videos. -JM. An Enzo the Magazine Production. Written and Directed: Alex Sovoda. Producer: Chet Oshima. Cast: Will Duncan, Megan Bitchell, Kyle Chase, Rachel Ho, Hughie Newman, Sterling Smith, Chet Oshima.
