Men's Thanksgiving
Films for the Fall • 07-Jul-2014
A house full of men with nothing to talk about. To boot, no one knows each other, or whose house they're in, or whether the football game they’re watching is being broadcast via Cable or Dish. An unbelievably funny exposé on men's small talk, which takes every moment of social awkwardness & magnifies it to absurdity. The men gather for the obligatory fire-building, bird-watching and game of touch football. Nowhere to be found are any women, nor is there any explanation of their absence. A timeless tale that we originally posted in 2014, and have reposted each year on Thanksgiving. One of our finest (only) traditions. -KA. Directed by Tom Levin. Written by George Kareman, Pat O'Brien, and Ben Wietmarschen.
