Santa Monica
All-time favorites • 30-Jun-2014
I'm currently in the middle of an obsessed phase with Kate Berlant & John Early, two of the funniest/smartest young performers around. This brilliant collaboration, "Santa Monica," written by the two & directed by another new NB favorite Andrew DeYoung, finds Early & Berlant playing characters with the same face tattoo, meeting at a farmers market & sparking a passionate romance. Please watch & your new job is to become huge fans of Berlant & Early + DeYoung. Recently screened as a part of NoBudge Shorts at the Northside Festival. We also recently featured 3 other short films with John Early here & director Andrew DeYoung directed Linda Munn's LPGA Champion.
