A couple discovers they don't know as much about each other as they thought while they move into a new apartment. Chidi Amadiume directs “Are We Here Yet?”, an astutely observed and performed relationship drama that explores a host of issues related to sexual identity. Ezra and Jonah lug boxes up to their new 5th floor apartment and soon their playful conversation (Jonah’s mother has previously referred to Ezra as a “discount Hugh Grant”) turns heated when the topic of ex-relationships comes up, specifically the fact that Ezra has slept with women before. For Jonah, this is a big deal and the more that Ezra tries to downplay it, the more worked up Jonah becomes. Amadiume’s film is witty and penetrating, and an actor’s showcase for its two terrific leads, Harry Aspinwall, Shane Moran.
