Three real life couples during the peak of the pandemic try to make sense of their relationships. Naomi Christie directs “Here Together,” a tender exploration of love and courtship in the time of Covid lockdowns. The new world that emerged in March of 2020 led to massive societal upheaval, and shifting standards of how relationships begin and develop. Some couples entered quickly into a partnership, while others were separated for long periods, struggling to connect over video chats. Christie’s film is carried by its intimacy and sense of reflection; there’s a longing quality that pervades both its spontaneous connections and difficult separations. -KA. Director: Naomi Christie.
