Megz Tillman-Trufant – hailing from New Orleans, LA – is a writer, performer/songwriter, and filmmaker, working under the moniker SOLTHOUGHT. Tillman-Trufant is based in Austin, TX where she studied Creative Writing and Rhetoric at St. Edward’s University and co-founded genre-defying hip hop band Magna Carda. As Magna’s songwriter and rap vocalist, she has performed at Austin City Limits and SXSW, toured nationally, and earned the title of Best Hip Hop Act at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Austin Music Awards.
