Overwhelmed by voices inside her head, a farmhand teeters between reality, nightmare, and an alternate dimension. Marisa DeMarini directs “Member’s Mark,” an elliptical experimental film that frames a psychological breakdown as a disorienting series of motifs - mirrors, lights, extreme close ups of eyes, wide empty outdoor spaces. The turmoil inside Lily’s head stems from something about the weather and a corresponding disintegration of her memory. It's a fractured exploration that finds its own rhythm and spacing with repeating voiceover and fever dream logic. -KA. Director: Marisa DeMarini. Director of Photography: Ryan Thomas. First AC: Calvin Ferniza. Editors: Marisa DeMarini and Ariel Gardner. Producer: Marisa DeMarini. Starring Thia Schuessler, Gabriella Ortega Ricketts, Cindy Schuessler, Sarah Schuessler.
