Inseparable sisters, Henriette and Anais, find their relationship being torn apart under mysterious circumstances. “Perfect as Cats,” directed by Kevin Vu, is an atmospheric drama that moves in dreamy ripples, crafted with stylish visuals, costuming and production design. At an austere boarding school, the sisters go about their lives in tandem. They do everything together - sleep in the same room, get dressed together, roam the grounds, etc. One day, an alluring new student arrives and threatens to disrupt the bond between Henriette and Anais. Shot on film, Vu’s film is a quietly intense rumination on sisterhood delivered in alternating bouts of connection and separation. -KA. Director: Kevin Vu.
