A couple navigates the glitches and complications of virtual reality intimacy. Erin Murray directs the music video, “Anyway U Want It,” a seductive, and comically absurd, VR spectacle for the bouncy track by Bambina. The couple, played by familiar face Whitmer Thomas and Bambina herself, spice things up one afternoon. Music engages and so does an animated sequence of lust. Murray, like in her recent short, “I Don’t Need to Know,” which we featured in July, delivers a fashionable, high energy portrait centered around sex. Both projects offer a sharp sense of pace and rhythm — where the previous short centered on an awkward conversation about pornography, the new video forefronts a dreamy pop track. -JM.
