A spirit haunts an Airbnb. The titular ghost, herself a visitor to the home at one point (“a weekend trip upstate with the girls”) considers the spot a charming place to haunt and loves the company of new visitors. Dauterman specializes in sketch films made with sharp style and timing (see also “On My Way,” which we featured last year), and has a real knack for getting to the point, and getting out before you know it.
Written and directed by Mary Dauterman. Starring Meagan Kensil and Jenny Donheiser. Cinematography by Kenny Suleimanagich. Assistant Camera Julia Pitch. Sound Jeff Gaumer. Edited by Mary Dauterman. Color by Stefan Hueneke. Mix by Kieran Kaye.
