A man tries to decide whether or not to take acid while his friend films him. Written by Colin Burgess and Tynan Delong, “six tabs” is brimming with absurd behavior and juvenile silliness, another signature addition in the body of work of DeLong & friends. Looking to expand his mind, the man (played by Burgess) considers a psychedelic experience — his affected nonchalance masks fear and cluelessness about the drug. Speaking to his friend behind the camera (DeLong), he wonders whether a second tab would cancel out the first, or whether the tabs should be mashed up into some apple sauce. After an extended period of speculation, delaying, and then preparing his apartment (turning his knives upside down, et al), he’s ready to begin his odyssey. -KA.
Directed & Edited by Tynan DeLong. Starring Colin Burgess. Written by Coin Burgess & Tynan DeLong.
