I'm Going Full Frontal For My NYU Student Short Film
A young man has second thoughts about the nudity in his film. “I'm Going Full Frontal For My NYU Student Short Film,” directed by and starring Elliot Connors, is a comedy about youthful vulnerability and trying to maintain an uncompromising vision, even if questionable. Ahead of the shoot, Elliot calls his dad for some words of encouragement but his old man is nothing but skeptical. His crew mates arrive and when he learns his cinematographer is only 17-years-old, Elliot gets concerned about exposing himself to a minor. The cinematographer has a plan, asking his sister to replace him, but this only makes matters worse. So, will Elliot go through with the declaration of the title to “keep the art alive”? With its punchy premise, the film delivers a funny and forthright portrayal of a committed film school student. -JM. Writer/Director: Elliot Connors. DP: Chloe Ramos.
