A manager at a clothing shop gives his list of top five songs. Brad Howe stars in “Dressbarn Greg's Top Five Jams,” directed by Whit Conway, a stylized comedy video that takes an unexpected turn into an awkward domestic scene. Reporting from an abandoned parking lot, Greg enthusiastically names his favorite tunes while wearing his department store uniform and gliding on roller blades. “Taking Care of Business,” by Bachman–Turner Overdrive and “Good Vibrations,” from The Beach Boys, make the list and on from there. Blasting from a JBL blue tooth speaker, Greg conjures scenes from lively weddings and cozy Christmas holidays and he can’t help but beam with optimism as he hears the strings from “Bittersweet Symphony.” He also loves his co-workers and has traveled to nineteen states, an epic life he insists. We recently featured Howe’s comedy special, “Brad Howe: Live At The Legion,” a hilarious 45-minute riff on life in a small Massachusetts town teeming with similar character building details. -KA. Director: Whit Conway. Cast: Brad Howe, Clark Conway, Jude Conway, Devin Bockrath, Andy Junk. DP/Color: Whit Conway. Editors: Whit Conway & Brad Howe. Producers: Whit Conway & Brad Howe.
