On a vacation so perfect it’s literally photoshopped, Skarlett and Jewlz find trouble in paradise. “Hoe Trip,” directed by Skarlett Redd, co-directed by Cameron Combe, is a catchy music video showing a day of modern revelry amidst a collage of vintage magazine cutouts. The two ladies hit the road in a red convertible, ready to get loose. Even getting pulled over by the cops doesn’t deflate the mood — they test “Sober AF” on a breathalyzer, and they’re back on their way. When they arrive to the house, the champagne and hot dogs start to flow. Never mind that Skarlett has to be resuscitated after almost drowning in the pool, the hoe trip must go on. Inspired by a Twitter thread from 2015 (#TheZolaStory), the vid is a lighthearted jaunt and free-spirited comment on sexual double standards.
