Unable to stop quarreling, a young couple turns to a strange alternative therapy practice. Zach Galsky directs “Physical Therapy,” an energetic comedy that pokes fun at a relationship dilemma between a young Czech couple. We meet Alex and Elizabeth as they individually discuss a recent argument with their mutual friend. Intercutting from one conversation to the other, we see how the two are set in their ways. Persistent on resolving the dispute —proving who’s in the right — they attend a session with a therapist, which proves unsuccessful. Later, a mysterious man hands them a flyer: it’s a cryptic advertisement for an alternative therapy practice, and they give it a try. Galsky renders the relationship drama with vivid 35mm images, lively sound design and upbeat performances. -JM. Director/Writer: Zach Galsky. Cast: Cenda Housa, Caroline Bernard. DP: Luis Figueroa Caunedo. Producer: Gili-Jo Froman.
