A young woman recalls her experience in two different relationships. Alexis T. Roberts directs “There’s a Glass House That I Want You To See,” a poetic exploration of love and separation. Within its elliptical, fragmentary form, the film finds truthful moments in a range of scenes, from an impromptu backyard picnic to a screaming match. One of the relationships is stuck in frustration and volatility, whereas the other is, at least for the moment, characterized by moments of joy and levity. The film feels somewhat like an artful journal entry (intimate, off-the-cuff, cathartic) delivered as an interior dialogue on the themes of habits, heartbreak, entropy, and coming to terms. -KA.
