Twenty-four year old Brad commemorates what seems to be his last night in the suburbs alongside his older brother Tyler, who is on the brink of turning thirty and still living at home. The film extends past the poetic experimentation of Bischoff's previous work, "Eyelids" and "For My Mick Jagger," into more narrative territory. He makes the leap effortlessly, maintaining his feel for the sentimental and adding real character development and nuance. Real life brothers - the Bischoff's - mine the rich territory of brotherhood and last nights and drunkenness and breaking into school gymnasiums. It's a physically dark film, often we can barely make out the characters, but it's got a heavy, open heart. Directed by Bradley Bischoff.
