After three influencers spend a weekend living off tequila and tainted taco meat, their behavior starts to inexplicably change. Boni Mata directs “Bitches,” a satire weaving absurd drama into an influencer eco-system during the days that follow a comped vacation. On her Instagram story, Kayla gives thanks to Taco Bell for the trip to the wondrous “Taco Bell Hotel.” She also throws a bit of shade at her two friends joining her on the trip (Emma and Boni) for indulging in the consumption of meat — Kayla didn’t dare. The three content creators return to their hype house but as they sip Baja Blasts poolside, things start to feel strange. Emma notices peculiarities in her skin and hair, and Boni’s symptoms closely follow. While the two spiral into insanity craving gorditas and cinnamon twists, Kayla gleefully gets with her man and negotiates the next brand ambassadorships. In line with its title, their performances are unhinged and their transformations are both off putting and hilarious to witness. -JM. Director/Writer: Boni Mata.
