Two best friends scramble to get ready for an outing. Talia Frank-Stempel and Annie Martino direct and star in “I Am Late!,” an upbeat, NYC snapshot following two young ladies in parallel action. They start their morning chit-chatting over the phone amidst micro-tasks, outfit changes, and alterations. When they venture into the city, they are challenged by sidewalk strangers, CitiBike snafus, and aloof baristas.
