A day in the life of a modern Midwestern community as a farmhand hunts for the cow he scared away. Brian White directs “Flyover,” a tender tale painting the lives of, and around, a farm in Missouri. During what seems to be just another one of their day-to-day duties, three farmhands blissfully converse as they wrangle a head of cows. When one cow flees, one of the farmhands spends his afternoon tracking it down. During his search, he’s confronted by a new friend, or maybe foe, hiding in the trees. Weaving through painterly views of agricultural landscapes and shared moments between community residents, White bears a delicate light on this Missouri town. -Jinho Myung. Director: Brian White.
