A sleazy romp through a drug-fueled Halloween costume party led by a group of sex-hungry gal pals. Using exceedingly poor taste and a gross out finale for the ages, "Ghosting The Party" is a fast-paced WTF comedy by director Carlos A.F. Lopez who crosses the line of decency to take revenge against the patriarchy, or something like that. Holed up in a bathroom trying to de-costume enough to pee, the disguised friends hatch a plan for an evening of debauchery. Once the drugs hit, they’re ready to knock boots, except the Sexy Robot chooses to maintain her moral, patriotic duty to stay true to her overseas military man. Which leaves either her friend, the Sexy Witch, or her other friend, the Sexy Mime, to get some action to ward off group blue balls. The inversion of the trope from horny males seeking sex to empowered females allows the short to veer into sticky sexual hijinks without as much moral baggage. And when the Sexy Mime slips quickly under the sheets with a man dressed as a Ghost, all bets are off.
Directed by Carlos A.F. Lopez. Produced by Chell Stephen. Director of Photography Jacob Rosen.
