When a friend group mistakenly receives a massive pizza delivery, they seize the opportunity to throw an epic pizza party. Gabe Ross-Reich, Will Duncan, and Eli Leonard present “Pizza Party,” a sprawling sketch comedy where a boys night reaches new heights. What’s set out to be a chill evening playing some board games suddenly changes when there’s a knock at the door and three good friends find themselves with a seven foot high stack of pizzas. In any way they can, the guys invite people over for their impromptu party, disregarding the idea that a rightful owner might be looking for their za. The festivities grow more and more electric but conflict arises when the rightful pizza-orderer makes their claim. As the film rapidly inclines into the revelries of the night we’re treated with a hilarious portrayal of a celebration that many have cherished since grade school. -JM.
