Drama, Mystery, 29-Mar-2023
After a drunken night at a house party, a young man pieces together what went down, while helping a stranger look for her boyfriend. In the free-spirited feature film, “San Francisco B.C.,” directed by Kevin Luna, we follow the respective bad days of Mike and Ramona as their paths intertwine and diverge. At a friend’s house, Mike meets Ramona who is searching for her boyfriend, Eric. No one has seen Eric but Mike offers Ramona a ride across town to Eric’s brother's place. This leads to a series of strange exchanges with an orbit of SF eccentrics, as well as a growing mystery. Improvisational and spotted with nihilism and dark humor, this quietly transfixing snapshot of a Bay Area micro-scene is a spontaneous flow of couch surfing, “job hunting”, car problems, drug issues, conspiracy theories, and backyard BBQ’s. -KA. Director: Kevin Luna. Cast: Ramona Labat & Mike Ramos. Cinematographer: Jeffrey Harland. Sound Designer: Jonathan Dakers. Original Score: Franz Edvard Cedrins. Editor: Guy Stillman. Producers: Molly Lehmann, Mike Ramos, Kevin Luna.
