First of all, it’s not a typo. That's the actual name of the movie. Got it? Okay, so the movie is about a group of friends trying to remake "The Matrix" in a Brooklyn apartment. They take the harebrained scheme very seriously though every element of the production is utterly unconvincing, from the flubbed line readings to the inaccurate props (the red and blue pills are yellow). They stop to adjust anytime they remember something else about the plot ("oh, you need the little dot on the back of your neck"). And just as they are getting cooking with Morpheus, they are interrupted by another roommate who wants to be in the movie, offering to play Neo’s brother. For some reason, they don't want him involved in the production at all. As he continues to pop into the room offering to help with hacking into the matrix and killing bad guys, they become more and more frustrated with his disruptions.
Directed by Tynan DeLong (who co-stars as the unwanted roommate with a wonderful sad/funny quality) the short is a hilarious piece of deadpan silliness, and of course, no movie about re-making "The Matrix" would be complete without a twist-ending.
Starring Anthony Oberbeck, Lorelei Ramirez, and Colin Burgess.
